The Royal Naval School of Marine Engineering at HMS SULTAN, Gosport, Hampshire is ideally located for MLS 07, being close to Southampton Airport, the M27 and Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour Railway stations.

 

 

 

Road: HMS SULTAN is appoximately 15 minutes drive from Junction 11 of the M27. After exiting the motorway follow the A32 (towards Gosport) and the signposts to HMS SULTAN. At the Fort Brockhurst roundabout (shortly after Gosport Ice Rink) take the 3rd exit onto the B334 (Rowner Road) and at the next rounadbout take the 2nd exit onto Grange Road. Note that entrance to HMS SULTAN must be via Vulcan Gate on Grange Road .

 

 

Rail: A regular rail service runs to both Fareham and Portsmouth Harbour railway stations from London Waterloo, Brighton and Cardiff Central. After arriving at Portsmouth Harbour, turn left as you come out of the station to catch the short ferry ride to Gosport. Once arriving at Gosport ferry terminal or at Fareham railway station, HMS SULTAN is a short taxi ride away (taxi ranks are located at both the Gosport ferry terminal and Fareham railway station). 

 

 

              

 

 

There is a wide range of accomodation available locally and also a short drive away in Port Solent (just off Junction 12 of M27).
